Showhomes Named a RESA Rising Star Vacant Staging Finalist

A listing’s first impression gets made in the first six seconds a buyer sees it online, and staging is the single biggest lever an agent has over that moment. That’s the strategy behind every project we take on, and it just earned national recognition.
Showhomes Premier Design Studio is a Top 10 Finalist for the Real Estate Staging Association’s Rising Star Vacant Staging Project of the Year United States. RESA sets the bar for the staging industry nationally, and this nomination is based on a real project: the Rock Rose model home at Crystal Mesa North in Leander, built by Group 3 Builders.

That home was also selected for the HBA Austin Parade of Homes, where builders showcase their best work in front of other builders, agents, and buyers who know exactly what they’re looking at. There’s no room for staging that just fills space in that environment. It has to sell a lifestyle at a glance, and it has to hold up under scrutiny most listings never face.

For agents, this is the point. A RESA nomination isn’t a design accolade. It’s confirmation that the staging strategy behind a listing can influence how buyers perceive value and how a property gets priced against the competition. That’s the same strategy we bring to every vacant listing we stage, whether it’s a builder model home or a resale in the luxury market.

We’re one year into business. Being named a national finalist this early, on a project built for one of the most competitive stages in Austin real estate, tells us the approach works. If you have a vacant listing coming up and want to talk through a staging strategy built around pricing and buyer perception, reach out. Let’s put this thinking to work on your next listing.
